Sizing depends on square footage, insulation, windows, and climate zone — a licensed installer confirms it with a load calculation before purchase. As a rough guide, 9–12k BTU covers a typical bedroom or office, 18–24k a large living area, and 36k+ whole-home or light-commercial zones. Installation is handled by licensed HVAC contractors. If you don't have one, Summit can refer qualified Bay Area installers who work with TCL equipment — request installer help and we'll connect you.
Federal 25C Tax Credit: Up to $2,000 for qualifying heat pumps (Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit). TECH Clean California: Heat pump incentives for California installs. Amounts vary by contractor enrollment and region. Your installing contractor confirms final eligibility for each program.
Return unopened equipment within 30 days for a full refund. Opened or special-order items may carry a 15% restocking fee. Damaged-in-transit units are replaced free.
